Hunting for treasures on Vancouver Island could keep you busy for weeks. From quaint, one-of-a-kind village shops to giant shopping malls and farmer’s markets, the island has it all.

Nanaimo offers a unique shopping experience with something for everyone.
Most of the national chain stores are located in shopping centres along the Island Highway in North Nanaimo but you’ll find unique shops and boutiques clustered in Nanaimo’s historic downtown, the Arts District and the famous Old City Quarter.

Parksville and Qualicum Beach have many unique shopping experiences. Although you will find a few chain stores here, what attracts most visitors are small, one-of-a-kind shops where you will discover one-of-a-kind treasures.

Shopping in the Comox Valley ranges from shopping centres to galleries and fashion boutiques. And be sure not to miss Courtenay’s historic, funky downtown where you can experience outstanding shopping and dining on 5th Street.

Campbell River has a great variety of shopping options and even more dining options with malls that are home to big box stores and national chains, as well as one-of-a-kind shops and boutiques that you won’t be able to find elsewhere.
